Rise early for breakfast before setting off on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino trekking experience. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only home to white rhinos in Uganda, where you’ll spend about two hours tracking these magnificent creatures. Afterward, you’ll stop for lunch at Kabalega Dinners before continuing your drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Start your day early at 6 a.m. with a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll have the chance to spot buffaloes, elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, Bohor reedbucks, shy sitatungas, warthogs, bush duikers, and bush pigs. Predators such as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, jackals, and genets may also be seen, along with primates like olive baboons and various monkeys. Along the Nile’s banks, observe Nile crocodiles and schools of hippos. Birdwatchers will enjoy sightings of species like Egyptian geese, goliath herons, pelicans, bee-eaters, hornbills, cormorants, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and the rare shoebill stork. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise upstream along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you’ll see more hippos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks, and an array of birdlife, including the elusive shoebill stork. The boat will pause about 10 meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” for a great photo opportunity.

Afterwards, begin the long drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through lush countryside, traditional African homesteads, and plantations.
