Your day begins with the highlight of your Uganda Safari – an awe-inspiring gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage site. After a detailed orientation at the Bwuhoma park headquarters, you’ll venture into the dense, mist-covered forest in search of the majestic mountain gorillas. Depending on their location, the trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, culminating in a rare and cherished hour spent observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Upon completion, you’ll be awarded a trekking certificate to commemorate the experience. Later, you’ll journey approximately 130 kilometers through scenic, terraced landscapes to the peaceful haven of Lake Bunyonyi.

Your final day on the Uganda Safari starts with a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi—renowned as Uganda’s 'Lake of Little Birds'—nestled in the Kabale District. As you glide across the water, you’ll explore some of the lake’s 29 islands, each rich with cultural and historical stories, including the infamous Punishment Island, once used to abandon unmarried pregnant girls. This scenic boat experience provides excellent chances for birdwatching, photography, and learning about life among the island communities.
