Today, you'll be met by a representative of Gorilla League Safaris and driven to Musanze Town, near Volcanoes National Park, in preparation for your golden monkey trek the next day. If you arrive in Kigali early, you may enjoy a short city tour, visiting landmarks like the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, or craft centers. Later, drive through Rwanda’s scenic countryside to Musanze, where you’ll check in and relax for the night.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your unforgettable gorilla tracking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Trek through dense forest in search of a gorilla family and spend an awe-inspiring hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest. Later, transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the evening. Relax by the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight at a lodge on the lakeshore.
Today, you will cross the border into Rwanda and be transferred to Kigali. If time allows, you can explore the city with optional visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a moving insight into Rwanda’s history, or stop by local craft markets to shop for handmade souvenirs. Later, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
