Tour Plan
On this day our guide will pick you up from your point of call and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your inbound flight departure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park landing at Kihihi airstrip for the northern and eastern sectors of the park or Kisoro Airstrip for the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National park. After landing, your safari guide will be eagerly waiting for you for the transfer by road to your private overnight Lodge. They are 2 flight departures from Entebbe to Bwindi that are in the morning or in the afternoon you can choose your suitable flight. Morning flights usually set off Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at 7:45 am and afternoon flights set off Entebbe at 12:30 pm daily. For the southern sectors of Bwindi, it is only one morning flight that departs Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip daily at 7:45 am. This is because of the strong tabulates and the area is mist-covered during morning hours. Inbound flights to Bwindi national park usually take up to one and half hours depending on the mapping of the day.

Immediately after your early morning breakfast with your picnic-packed lunch box, you will head to the Park headquarters to register and join other guests for a briefing about the dos and the don’ts for this activity. Gorilla Trekking starts at exactly 8:00 am. You will enter the forest and trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides, and porters to find the Gorillas, which can take you about 1 hour to a maximum of 7 hours. The steeply forested landscape of the park is extraordinarily dense and is rich with several animal tracks allowing access to tourists. It is quite an unusual feeling getting near to these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.
