Tour Plan
Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make a brief stop at the Equator for photos and a coffee break, then continue through rolling hills, rural towns, and lush landscapes. Arrive in the Kasese area by late afternoon and check in at your lodge. Later, head out for a short evening game drive to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly lions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, a prime area for spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and various bird species. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel for a scenic boat safari. Cruise along the waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward, viewing hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a rich variety of water birds up close. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert guides, trek through the gorge’s lush forest to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, along with other primates and diverse birdlife. The trek can be moderately challenging but rewarding with close wildlife encounters. After the trek, return to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon enjoy the stunning views, swim, or unwind before dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy a scenic drive southeast to Lake Mburo National Park, passing through rolling hills and charming rural villages. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp. In the late afternoon, head out for an evening game drive to spot zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and other wildlife as they become more active at dusk. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
